Last week, Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia announced his retirement from law enforcement. He is leaving Dallas for Austin, where he will serve serve under Dallas’s disgraced former City Manager, T.C. Broadnax. The announcement came a few months after Chief Garcia had committed to the City of Dallas that he would stay on as police chief for a few more years – and just 7 months after Broadnax announced his early departure.
Why is Dallas losing so many senior staff to a smaller city? Our City Council continues to avoid accountability for the culture of failure they have created.
Instead, Leftist Council members like Adam Bazaldua are peddling scapegoat misinformation aimed at the Dallas HERO Initiative. It is the way of “bureaucrazies” to point fingers away from those who are truly responsible for ill turns.
Our feckless City Council has no one to blame but themselves. They allowed T.C. Broadnax to ruin Dallas and retreat to Austin with nearly half a million dollars in “severance” pay. Now he is poaching veteran staff from Dallas!
If you are sick of our “culture of failure” in Dallas, it is time to step up and let your City Council members know we are tired of their failed policies and excuses. Any city leader who continues to ignore us must be voted out. Click the button below to contact your Council Member today!

Tracking Illegal Camps:

District 7 Councilman Adam Bazaldua
“Backyard Living Camp”
This camp in Adam Bazaldua’s District 7 has been dubbed “Backyard Living Camp.” This camp is caddy-cornered to a Dallas Resident’s backyard. This entire area is surrounded by vagrants from all over the City, and the residents have been forced to live with this invasion of privacy while the City of Dallas does nothing to provide relief. What is Adam Bazaldua going to do about these camps? Call Councilman Bazaldua today.

District 11 Councilwoman Jaynie Schultz
“Broken Gate Camp”
This camp in Jaynie Schultz’s District 11 has earned the title “Broken Gate Camp.” This camp, placed on the service road of LBJ Freeway, showcases the City’s broken response to homelessness. OHS spends thousands of tax dollars every year gating off these underpasses, only for vagrants to destroy the fences. They have destroyed City property and are committing crimes in the area. Call Councilwoman Jaynie Schultz today.

District 2 Councilman Jesse Moreno
“Marilla Special Camp”
We named this camp in Jesse Moreno’s District 2 “Marilla Special Camp.” In this picture, you can see Dallas City Hall, a City-owned property overrun with squatters, and a homeless tent that has overtaken the sidewalk. It is unthinkable that every city staffer is okay with the surrounding area falling into absolute ruin. Councilman Jesse Moreno is doing what he can to fix it, but he needs reinforcements! Call Councilman Jesse Moreno today and let him know that his efforts to end vagrancy in Dallas are not unnoticed!
