Criminal gang activity has risen in Dallas with the recent arrival of the ‘Tren De Aragua’ gang out of Venezuela. The rumors of this gang operating in Dallas were confirmed by the Dallas Express reporting that the gang was operating out of a far north Dallas apartment complex.
Since that story was released we have seen repeated incidents of emboldened criminal activity that is linked to this criminal gang.
Recently, a Dallas woman was assaulted and robbed in her own home by four members of Tren De Aragua, who are in the country illegally. The men pistol whipped her and threatened to cut off her fingers before making off with over $75,000 in stolen items.
Between the federal government’s open border policy and local law enforcement’s inability to keep up with rising crime, violent gang activity is on the rise in Dallas.
Our state and local officials can’t control the federal government, but they can ensure DPD has the necessary resources. We must insist that they take the next responsible course of action.
The Dallas HERO initiative charter amendments seek to step up where the Dallas City Council has failed. This November, Propositions S, T, and U will be at the bottom of your ballot. Each proposition addresses the public safety crisis in a different way.
The Dallas HERO charter amendments will help increase the number of cops on the streets and increase accountability against our corrupt and inept City government.

Make a plan, vote as early as possible, and bring your friends with you when you do. Don’t forget that voting is not the only way to get involved. Contact your City Council Member and ask them to take Tren De Aragua seriously. Their silence on this issue has not gone unnoticed!

These zip codes encompass East Oak Cliff, South Dallas, and Lake Highlands, respectively. City Council members Adam Bazaldua, Jesse Moreno, and Kathy Stewart should be ashamed of these numbers. If they represent you, call them today and request more patrolling in your area!
Dallas Man Charged For Attempted Murder of Girlfriend
Travis Bryant has been sentenced to eight years in prison for attempting to strangle his girlfriend with a dog leash. Luckily, we were able to avoid adding this case to the homicide total in Dallas for the year, but 143 other Dallas residents weren’t so lucky. Dallas must address our chronic staffing shortage at DPD!

This camp in Kathy Stewart’s District 10 has been dubbed “Highway Leisure Camp.” In North Dallas, vagrants congregate around highway intersections and entrance ramps. From these spots, they can panhandle and seek shelter from the weather without any worry of DPD enforcement. Councilwoman Stewart should be ashamed of the state of her City Council District!
| District 7 Councilman Adam Bazaldua “Tent City Camp” This camp in Adam Bazaldua’s District 7 has earned the title “Tent City Camp.” In an abandoned retailer’s parking lot, these tents have added to the vagrancy mess in Bazaldua’s district. “The Persistence Camp”
We named this camp in Jesse Moreno’s District 2, “The Persistence Camp.” This camp went viral not too long ago because of how brazenly defiant it is. Every morning and afternoon during rush hour, this vagrant can use the rush hour traffic as an opportunity to panhandle. He has lived in this exact spot for over a year, and there seems to be no sign of oncoming enforcement. These camps are a major blight on Dallas!
