Dallas City Council Crowns Tolbert: A New Face for the Same Old Failures

Dallas leadership just handed Kimberly Tolbert a $450,000 salary and a $900K retirement buffer, cementing the Broadnax-Tolbert legacy of failure at taxpayer expense. Instead of ushering in real change, City Hall doubled down on the same policies that have left Dallas struggling with crime, homelessness, and wasteful spending.
Tolbert stood by as 911 response times worsened, with Dallas Fire-Rescue warning that residents are at risk due to staffing shortages. Under her watch, violent crime surged, yet the city funneled resources into diversity training and bloated bureaucratic initiatives instead of taking real action on public safety and crime prevention.

She played a key role in Broadnax’s failed $72 million homeless hotel scheme, which promised permanent housing but instead became a money pit with little to show for it. Meanwhile, city workers struggled to get paid due to massive payroll issues that left first responders waiting for their checks.
Dallas also saw botched infrastructure management under Tolbert’s leadership, with millions allocated for road repairs mysteriously disappearing while potholes and deteriorating streets remain a daily frustration for residents. Instead of addressing these failures, the city spent $4.5 million on an “equity audit” that produced very little actionable change. Time and again, taxpayer money has been funneled into bureaucratic black holes while basic city services decline.
Dallas residents deserve better than more of the same failed leadership. City Hall rewards insiders instead of delivering real solutions. Contact City Manager Kimberly Tolbert today and demand action. Tell her Dallas needs real leadership, not another bureaucrat cashing in at public expense.

Press Highlights:
Carolyn King Arnold Ruled Ineligble For Council Re-Run
Carolyn King Arnold, who attempted to run for re-election despite new term limit rules, has been ruled ineligible for the 2025 ballot. Even after voters clearly approved stricter term limits, some politicians still tried to find a way around them. Now that Arnold has been forced out, will the city finally get fresh leadership?
CVS Security Guard Killed While Stopping Teen Shoplifters A Dallas CVS security guard was murdered after confronting two teenage shoplifters, ages 13 and 15. Both suspects are now in custody. This isn’t just a crime statistic—it’s a tragic example of how we’ve failed our youth. When kids this young feel no fear of consequences, it’s clear the city’s leadership has failed.
$5.6M Homelessness Initiative—Another Empty Promise? Dallas leaders have approved a $5.6 million initiative to address homelessness. However, past efforts have often fallen short, raising concerns about the effectiveness of this new plan. When millions keep disappearing with no real progress, it’s not just incompetence—it’s misuse of taxpayer money. How many times will we be asked to fund ‘solutions’ that don’t work?

Tracking Illegal Camps:

District 2, Councilman Jesse Moreno

“Junk Station”

This sprawling encampment, dubbed Junk Station, sits next to an old railway, covered in trash, debris, and filth, and riddled with drug activity. While taking this photo, I witnessed what appeared to be a drug deal in broad daylight. Councilman Jesse Moreno, how much worse does it have to get before you take action?

District 14, Councilman Paul Ridley

“Panhandler Danger Zone”

A panhandler standing in the middle of the road—putting himself and drivers at risk—earned this spot the name Panhandler Danger Zone. It’s unacceptable that Dallas drivers have to navigate these hazards daily. Councilman Paul Ridley, panhandling is illegal—when will you start enforcing the law in your district?

District 6, Councilman Omar Narvaez

“Wooden Forest Encampment”

Tucked away in the woods behind an empty parking lot in Koreatown lies an encampment littered with garbage and squalor. Who knows what’s happening out here, hidden from public view? Councilman Omar Narvaez, it’s time to clean up your district and put an end to this.
