Dear Concerned Residents:

Dear Concerned Residents:

2021 is here and it has only taken a few days for it to show us that the insanity from 2020 is not leaving us anytime soon. From civil unrest in our nation’s capital to a continued high rate of violent crime in Dallas, we here at Keep Dallas Safe would like to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves and why our mission is even more important now.

Keep Dallas Safe, or KDS for short, was founded in response to the “defund the police” movement that has swept across the nation and even found root in Dallas. In September of last year, 11 of our city council members voted to defund the police overtime budget by $7 million. This is unacceptable. Thankfully, however, City Council elections are just around the corner.

Public Safety must be the number one priority of any city, but especially one that suffered the enormous rate of violent crime Dallas did in 2020. That is why KDS will work tirelessly to ensure that the public is well informed about where the candidates stand on this issue. We will also be working to achieve a few other goals to contribute to the overall safety and wellbeing of Dallas.

These include: hiring of 2000 more officers, supporting efforts to prevent unfavorable business policies, finding solutions to provide our burgeoning homeless population with a way forward, and cutting through the layers of nonsense and pet projects that have tarnished the city government.

These are lofty goals, but we know that with the support of the community we can make them into reality. You can help us out by:

1.       Sharing our posts and interacting with them. Facebook and Twitter have used the elections as an excuse to clamp down on the reach of conservative issues groups such as ours. We need your help to keep effectively reaching people on social media.

2.       Volunteering. Please email us at [email protected] to find out about opportunities.

3.       Donations. We keep our team as small as possible to limit overhead but many of our projects are quite expensive. Please visit to donate easily via PayPal. If you are considering a large amount, email us at [email protected] or message us on Facebook or Twitter with contact information and we will get in touch.

We look forward to working together to Keep Dallas Safe!
